Cinnamon the Capybara Still Missing Two Days After Escaping Telford Zoo
Telford Zoo staff are still searching for Cinnamon, a two-year-old capybara who escaped from her enclosure on Monday.
The zoo has been closed to the public since Cinnamon's escape, and staff are using nets, traps, and thermal imaging cameras to try to find her.
Cinnamon is a large rodent, weighing up to 140 pounds, and she is native to South America. She is brown with white fur on her belly, and she has webbed feet.
Capybaras are good swimmers, and they can hold their breath for up to five minutes. They are also known to be very curious and playful.
Zoo staff are concerned for Cinnamon's safety, as she is not used to being in the wild. They are asking the public to be on the lookout for her and to report any sightings to the zoo.
If you see Cinnamon, do not approach her. Please call the zoo at 555-1212.
