Mpox Vaccination Programme Update
Changes and Recommendations
The NHS mpox outbreak vaccination programme has ended as of July 2023.
However, vaccination is still available for:
- Pre-exposure
- Post-exposure
Mpox is typically mild, and most cases resolve within weeks.
Rollout Acceleration
The NHS in London and local public health teams will begin expanding the mpox vaccine rollout this week.
Currently, the vaccination programme is only available in:
- London
- Greater Manchester
